Kamura served as the main hub or base camp in the original story, but considering that Sunbreak takes you to an entirely different location, players might be wondering how to get back to the village in between missions. Let’s get into it.
Going Back to Kamura in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak
Once you start Sunbreak, you’ll be locked into the expansion content for a short while, which means there’s no way to return to Kamura until you’ve progressed a bit further. Thankfully, you’ll only need to clear out a few quests before you’re able to travel back and forth between both locations again. All you have to do is follow the story objectives and clear out the Master Rank 1 quests, and once you’ve done so, the game will inform you that you’re able to head back to Kamura again. To go back, simply bring up the map and press L or R to tab over to Kamura village. From here, choose a location in the village that you want to go to, and press A to confirm your selection. The game will then load you back into Kamura, where you can interact with the Meowcenaries and all the other familiar faces you interacted with in the original story. From this point on, you can travel between the two locations whenever you want, though it’s more likely that you’ll spend most of your time in the Sunbreak hub as you work your way through the new hunts and Master Rank quests. That’s all you need to know about how to get back to Kamura in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
