The only four-star units available in the game right now are Riesz, Duran, Sumo, Angela, Shiloh, and Popoi. All five units are pretty powerful, but you want to aim for at least two of them to give yourself a good head start in Echoes of Mana. We’d recommend going for Sumo, as he’s able to provide party healing and also serves as a great DPS character, and any other four-star that suits your fancy. Duran works well as a tanky character, while Riesz and Shiloh are fairly straightforward melee DPS characters. That leaves Angela and Popoi, who are ice and fire mages respectively, so pick whoever you prefer. One thing to note is that if you do pull Angela, you might end up having to control her in battle as her AI tends to focus on physical attacks instead of making use of her powerful spells.
