In order to improve the browsing experience in Google Chrome, Google is updating Chrome with the ability to block website redirects. Well, in coming months, the Chrome browser will block different type of unwanted and annoying redirects. Several website owners are implementing methods to insert ads in a website to increase revenue. However, as a user, it’s really disturbing where a website or ad suddenly loads a new page in the background. So, over the next couple months, Google will block all the redirects and the upgrade will roll out in three different paths. The first part will block ads from redirecting visitors to another website when they haven’t been clicked. In the second part, Google will block redirects that act as a pop-up which runs in the background window. On the last part, Google will block those page elements that are kept hidden under the download or playback buttons.
Well, according to Google, the changes should be released to everyone “in the first few months of 2019”. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
