“They found one individual male down and that he was deceased,” Urena said. “Through further investigation they determined that there were no other individuals involved and they believe it was an isolated incident, and that there’s nobody else on the campus or in the public that is at risk.” The Santa Clara County Medical-Examiner Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of the person’s death, Urena said. According to the dispatch audio, it was reported that the person was bleeding from the head and “possibly has a gun,” and was being accompanied by the security. However, few minutes later, dispatchers reported that “a body is in one of the conference rooms with a gun.” However, the Sheriff’s Department did not confirm that whether anyone had been injured in this incident. The dispatch audio also shows that a deady body was found in a conference room and a gun was found from the site. The authenticity of dispatch audio recording has not been yet confirmed by the Sheriff’s Department. Spokesperson from the Sheriff’s department refused to discuss the audio, “I can’t confirm any information regarding a manner or cause of death, or any weapons,” the spokesperson said. An Apple spokesperson said, “We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of a young and talented coworker. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends, including the many people he worked with here at Apple. We are working to support them however we can in this difficult time”. An employee wishing not be named said that most employees weren’t aware that who died and that employees were offered of taking the rest of the day off.
