How to Get All Endings in Cyberpunk 2077

The main decision that affects which of Cyberpunk 2077’s endings you get depends on the decision you make during the main quest “Nocturne Op55N1.” When you’re standing on the balcony with Misty, you’ll have to make a decision. The choices you have here depend on whether or not you’ve completed certain side jobs, or what you do within this scene. Below, you’ll find the requirements needed to unlock each of the four endings in Cyberpunk 2077, as well as a secret ending we’ve explained a little further below.

Cyberpunk 2077 Ending 1 – “Where Is My Mind?”

To get this ending, you’ll first need to save Takemura during the Search and Destroy mission. After doing this, during the conversation on the balcony, choose the option ‘Think trusting Arasaka’s risky but worth it,’ followed by the option to ‘Take Omega Blockers.’ You’ll then have to complete the following missions:

Last CarressTotalimmortalWhere Is My Mind?

Choosing this ending will see V help Takemura get revenge for the death of Saburo Arasaka. V will find themselves on a space station where you’re able to choose whether to store his mind in cyberspace forever or die like a regular mortal back on Earth. Completing this ending will reward you with ‘The Devil’ trophy and achievement.

Ending 2 – “All Along the Watchtower”

To get this ending, you’ll need to make sure you’ve completed all of Panam Palmer’s side quests. These are titled:

Riders on the StormWith a Little Help from My FriendsQueen of the Highway

With these missions completed, during the balcony decision in ‘Nocturne Op55N1’ you should have the option to ‘Call Panam.’ During this conversation, ask Panam for help. Then ‘Take Omega Blockers’. You’ll then need to complete the following missions:

We Gotta Live TogetherForward to DeathBelly of the Beast

During Belly of the Beast, you’ll have to make a decision regarding crossing the bridge or entering the well when talking with Alt. For this ending, you want to choose to ‘Enter the Well’ by selecting the ‘Wanna live out whatever life I got left’ dialog option. In doing so, Johnny Silverhand will be stranded in cyberspace and V will leave Night City with Panam and the other Nomads. Completing this ending will reward you with ‘The Star’ trophy and achievement.\

Cyberpunk 2077 Ending 3 – “New Dawn Fades”

In order to get the third ending, you’ll either need to complete Panam’s side quests listed above for Ending 2, or complete Rogue’s side quests. These are:

Tapeworm (you need to complete this to unlock ‘Chippin’ In’)Chippin’ InBlistering Love

With these missions completed, during the balcony decision in ‘Nocturne Op55N1’ you can suggest ‘Think you and Rogue should go.’ After this, select ‘Take Omega Blockers.’ You’ll then need to complete the following missions:

For Whom the Bell TollsKnockin’ on Heavens Door

During Knockin’ on Heavens Door, all you need to do is select to cross the bridge with Alt, as opposed to entering the Well. In this ending, your mind is stuck in cyberspace and Johnny Silverhand will gain control of V’s body forever. This is one of the bad endings in Cyberpunk 2077. Side Note: It is possible to also get this ending by choosing to cross the bridge with Alt if you’ve asked Panam for help and completed her side quests. It is not locked specifically to Rogue. Completing this ending will reward you with ‘The Temperance’ trophy and achievement.

Ending 4 – Path of Glory

For this ending, you’ll need to once again make sure you’ve completed Rogue’s questline by completing the missions:

TapewormChippin’ InBlistering Love

Continue to request Rogue’s help during the balcony scene in ‘Nocturne Op55N1,’ take the Omega Blockers, and then complete the main missions:

For Whom the Bell TollsKnockin’ on Heaven’s Door

When you reach the decision with Alt, you’ll this time want to choose to enter the Well. This will cause Johnny Silverhand to be trapped in cyberspace forever, and V will become a legend of Night City. Completing this ending will reward you with ‘The Sun’ trophy and achievement.

Ending 5 – Path of Least Resistance

The Path of Least Resistance ending is the fourth, and fastest way to have the credits roll on Cyberpunk 2077. To get this ending, simply choose any of the above three options, and then choose to reconsider right after that. Next, look down at your hand holding the pills or your gun. You can now choose a new option “Could also just put all this to rest.” Choosing this option results in V committing suicide. This causes the end credits to show immediately, but you’ll miss out on all the late-game quests that wrap up V’s story. We’d advise giving this ending a miss, as it’s by far the worst.

How to Get Cyberpunk 2077’s Secret Ending

Cyberpunk 2077 has a secret ending which can also be triggered when you’re on the balcony during “Nocture Op55N1.” To trigger this, all you need to do is not choose any of the four options that lead you to the other four endings. Doing so will result in Johnny interpreting your silence as a sign you don’t want to put your friends in harm’s way. That means you’re going to be mounting a siege on Arasaka Tower on your own. Be warned, if you die during this secret ending, that’s it. You won’t respawn, and the credits will roll instead. This is arguably one of the hardest missions we undertook in Cyberpunk 2077, as you’ll be taking on waves and waves of high-level, strong enemies all on your own. Depending on how successful you are here and what decisions you make (entering the well or crossing the bridge) you’ll end up with either the Rogue’s Path ending, or Path of Least Resistance Ending. That’s everything you need to know on getting every one of Cyberpunk 2077’s endings. For more tips and tricks, head over to our guide wiki, or check out more of our coverage below.
